All-American Standings:
The only performance-based award in our sport

The All-American Awards are earned by horses and riders based on their performance throughout the show season. Every ribbon winner at each qualifying show is eligible to earn points towards the All-American Awards bestowed in 60 different categories. To be eligible as a qualifying show, the show must be:

1) sanctioned by USEF (United States Equestrian Federation)
2) be at least three days in duration, and
3) have at least 100 horses total in the American Saddlebred,
Hackney Pony, Roadhorse and Saddle Seat Equitation divisions.

Points are earned based on the size of the show and the number of horses in the class. All championship classes earn points. For shows with over 400 horses, points are awarded for qualifying classes.

Being named to The National Horseman’s All-American team means that you were one of the top point earners out of thousands of horses that competed for All-American points. Recognizing an accomplishment this noteworthy highlights the success and prominence in our industry and is treasured.
