Sales Representative Wanted for Texas Horse Shows

The National Horseman, the Saddlebred industry’s premier 4-color, glossy magazine, is looking for an energetic and personable sales representative to cover Texas Horse Shows.

Responsibilities include:
-Attending assigned shows to represent the magazine for advertising sales
-Horse Show story writing, taking candid photos and more
-Seeing all ad sales, stories and candids through to the office by assigned deadlines
-Collaborate with the office in Arizona to provide Texas customers with the best services using avenues such as our magazine for print, directory listing and website

Requirements include:
-Saddlebred industry involvement/knowledge
-Demonstrated ability to “close” a sale, sales experience
-Knowledge of Internet, FTP, emailing, Word, Excel, digital cameras, taking photos and emailing photos crucial
-Must be physically fit, able to run after potential customers after they win, carry boxes of magazines or materials around show grounds throughout an entire show
-Must have transportation
-Positive attitude
-Organized, self-motivated and timely
-Must have cell phone
