The UPHA Incentive Sale Returning to the UPHA American Royal
National Championship in 2010

The UPHA Board of Directors has been working hard on plans to improve the Incentive Sale for 2010. “A new format is planned for next year that we hope will stimulate interest and participation in the sale,” said Bret Day, UPHA First Vice President.

Yearlings and 2-year-olds in training will be sold at the sale, which will be held immediately following the UPHA Five Gaited Classic Grand Championship on Thursday evening, November 18, 2010. Changes will be made to the Thursday night schedule to accommodate the sale, which will begin by 9:00pm. “The sale has previously been held on Friday morning,” said Day, “but we felt that moving it to the ‘Classics Night’ at the show would increase attendance.” Food and drink will be part of the Gala event.

“We also plan to increase promotion of the horses entered in the sale by not only publishing a catalog, but by utilizing the UPHA website www.uphaonline.com to offer video clips of the young horses for sale.
