EDITORIAL ASSOCATE

A fast-paced, high energy National Horse Magazine for the Scottsdale Airpark office (82nd Street and Frank Lloyd Wright Blvd) seeks an energetic editorial associate.

Join our small, fun, effective team which produces a high quality, 4-color, 20 issue per year magazine. Only positive attitude applicants should apply. Responsibilities include editing incoming stories, writing stories, updating/entering information in a database, researching, organizing, prioritizing, and other office tasks. Word, Excel, Outlook and other computer skills must be current.

If you are honest, loyal, have integrity and confidence, you may fit on our dynamic, creative team. The successful candidate will have excellent attention to detail, superior spelling and grammar skills, a keen ability to work with tight deadlines, and be able to coordinate with other staff and departments.

Horse knowledge, specifically American Saddlebred, is preferred. A bachelor’s degree in Journalism, English or related field is also preferred. Multi-tasking skills are a must. Occasional nights or weekends may be required.
